Additional information is known for some of the omicron cases available in the reporting system. Information on symptoms was submitted for 6,788 cases; predominantly no or mild symptoms were reported. The most common symptoms reported by patients were rhinitis (54%), cough (57%), and sore throat (39%). 124 patients were hospitalized and four persons died. Exposure abroad was reported for 543 (5%) cases. 186 patients were unvaccinated, 4,020 were fully vaccinated, of these, booster vaccination was reported for 1,137. Based on the data submitted 148 reinfections were identified among all transmitted omicron infections, for none of the persons affected by reinfection, no previous illnesses were reported.

i da piše šta možeš da zaključiš na uzorku od četvoro, moglo se desiti i da su neki stogodišnjaci koji su svi bili vakcinisani a umrli od ko zna čega

To clarify, whilst I believe that we, as a society should try to extract ourselves out of the pandemic fairly soon, I wouldn't want to dictate anyone's behaviour, and I fully respect that some may need a bit longer before they feel ready to resume a 'normal' life.

...(OC43, HKU1, 229E, NL63). But SARS-CoV-2 is different. It’s more aggressive. I don’t think we should expect it to devolve to a flu-like pattern. It has a much higher R0, evades immunity on shorter time scales, and is more virulent (jury still out on Omicron). 4/6

Navodno s interne domaće kovid grupe medicinskih radnika:
"Drage kolege, omicron se siri kao pozar. Kod vakcinisanih sa blagim simptomima u vidu blage virusne infekcije cak i asimptomatski. Izgleda da cemo uskoro svi postati pozitivni, samo je pitanje ko ce onda da radi, da nas leci, izdaje lekove, prevozi, odnosi smece… da li uopste testirati ljude…jer ce sve stati . Pod hitno bi trebalo zvanicno promeniti vreme bolovanja. Ljudi se osecaju dobro, neki misle da imaju “Prehladu” , a sa takvim prehladama smo isli na posao ranije. Kod nevakcinisanih su simptomi izrazeniji u vidu povisene TT nekoliko dana , malaksolosti i slomljenosti. Raste potraznja za kongestivima Coldrex, Fervex jer uglavnom imaju simptom curenje iz nosa, bola u grlu i kaslja"

Pre tačno dve godine, zdravstvena služba grada Vuhana objavila je kominike o 27 slučajeva virusne upale pluća, od kojih je 7 sa teškom kliničkom slikom.
