Feb 14 (Reuters) - Ukraine could drop its bid to join NATO to avoid war with Russia, the BBC quoted the country's ambassador to Britain as saying, in what would amount to a major concession to Moscow in response to the build-up of Russian troops on its borders.

Ambassador Vadym Prystaiko told the BBC Ukraine was willing to be "flexible" over its goal to join the Atlantic military alliance, a move Russian President Vladimir Putin has said would be a trigger for war.

"We might - especially being threatened like that, blackmailed by that, and pushed to it," Prystaiko was quoted as saying when asked if Kyiv could change its position on NATO membership.

Najveća avio-kompanija u Ukrajini MAU (Ukraine International Airlines) počela je masovno povlačenje aviona u inostranstvo na zahtev zakupodavca.

U vreme objavljivanja materijala, šest aviona tog avio-prevoznika poletelo je sa aerodroma Borispolj na skladištenje na aerodromima Beograd u Srbiji i Kasteljon u Španiji, prenosi avianews.com.

To su Boing 737-800 sa registracijama UR-PSP, UR-PSZ, UR-PSO, UR-PSKS, UR-PSK, UR-PSM. Letelice su u vlasništvu SASOF III, AVAS 36820 TRUST i ALC B738 29674.

Pres-služba UIA je saopštila da, na zahtev zakupodavca, šalje pet aviona Boing 737-800 u Španiju na skladištenje. Još dve letelice ići će u Beograd na ''plansko održavanje motora''.
