Do enough people still have an interest in any of that? Impossible living costs, not least among people under 40, have definitely made hitherto cheap nights out prohibitively expensive. But there might also be much deeper shifts at work. I sometimes wonder whether we are in danger of accepting a kind of social life designed by tech-centred minds that want everything to be scheduled, controlled and, to use a particularly horrible modern word, manageable.

Koliko me samo nervira dugogodišnji trend, koji mislim da je ustanovio Pičfork, da se pojedinim najtiražnijim mejnstrim zvezdama daju neumereno visoke ocene. Čini mi se da pokušavaju da ispadnu kul i da pokažu širinu vidika. Što bi bilo u redu da ove zaslužuju ocene kao da su Bitlsi ili Stounsi.
Inače, ne bežim od mejnstrima u muzici i nisam tu puritanac.

Joj kad se sećam vremena kad je štampa uzdizala Kanye West-a u nebesa. Pokušao sam to da slušam - dosadno kukumavčenje o tome kako je teško biti bogat, narcisoidan i slavan, sa muzičkim referencama i semplovima razbacanim svuda unaokolo, megalomanija kao takva, antipod muzici i životnoj radosti.

Mada realno, ja sam nove izvodjace prestao da "otkrivam" posle negde 2015. Ako neko kome verujem tj u ciji ukus verujem kaze da je nesto jako dobro onda poslusam.

kanje je bio najbolja pop zvezda svog vremena. i ocene koje je on dobijao od kritike nema veze s poptimizmom. ta muzika je bila super. potpuno si promasio fudbal.
