Najmanje 100 osoba je ubijeno, a više od 200 ranjeno u napadu dronovima na svečanost povodom završetka školovanja nove generacije sirijskih oficira u Homsu. Sirijski generalštab navodi "brojne žrtve" i "dobro poznate neprijatelje", prenosi RTS.

Odvojeno od ovoga, na sjeveroistoku ove ratom razorene zemlje koji drže Kurdi, u turskim udarima na vojne i infrastrukturne ciljeve ubijeno je najmanje devet ljudi, prema kurdskim snagama, nakon što je Ankara zaprijetila napadima kao odmazdu za bombaški napad.

U centralnom sirijskom gradu Homsu, “naoružane terorističke organizacije” ciljale su na “svečanu dodjelu diploma za oficire vojne akademije”, navodi se u vojnom saopćenju koje je prenijela zvanična novinska agencija SANA, izvještavajući o žrtvama.

Sirijska opservatorija za ljudska prava, posmatračka grupa sa sjedištem u Britaniji sa širokom mrežom izvora na terenu, izvijestila je o “više od 60 mrtvih, uključujući vojno osoblje i najmanje devet civila”, uz još desetine ranjenih.

Nije bilo neposrednog preuzimanja odgovornosti.

Napad je izveden “dronom napunjenim eksplozivom”, navodi se u vojnom saopćenju.

Generalna komanda vojske i oružanih snaga osudila je “kukavički… bez presedana” napad i rekla da će “odgovoriti punom snagom”, dodaje se u saopćenju
