Izgledalo je pomalo černobilski, smiju se braća.

Naime, karantena je ozbiljna. Soba u kojoj boravi zaključana je i gotovo nitko ne ulazi. Sam mjeri temperaturu, razinu kisika u krvi i otkucaje, a osim toga, videonadzorom je pokriven 24 sata. Coronavirus: Nasa images show China pollution clear amid slowdown

Satellite images have shown a dramatic decline in pollution levels over China, which is "at least partly" due to an economic slowdown prompted by the coronavirus, US space agency Nasa says.


Nasa maps show falling levels of nitrogen dioxide this year.

It comes amid record declines in China's factory activity as manufacturers stop work in a bid to contain coronavirus.

China has recorded nearly 80,000 cases of the virus since the outbreak began.

It has spread to more than 50 countries but the vast majority of infections and deaths are in China, where the virus originated late last year.

Nasa scientists said the reduction in levels of nitrogen dioxide - a noxious gas emitted by motor vehicles and industrial facilities - was first apparent near the source of the outbreak in Wuhan city but then spread across the country.

Nasa compared the first two months of 2019 with the same period this year.

The space agency noted that the decline in air pollution levels coincided with restriction imposed on transportation and business activities, and as millions of people went into quarantine.

"This is the first time I have seen such a dramatic drop-off over such a wide area for a specific event," Fei Liu, an air quality researcher at Nasa's Goddard Space Flight Center, said in a statement.

She added that she had observed a decline in nitrogen dioxide levels during the economic recession in 2008, but said that decrease was more gradual.

Nasa noted that China's Lunar New Year celebrations in late January and early February have been linked to decreases in pollution levels in the past. But it said they normally increase once the celebrations are over.

"This year, the reduction rate is more significant than in past years and it has lasted longer," Ms Liu said.

"I am not surprised because many cities nationwide have taken measures to minimise spread of the virus."

(I see now that the picture chosen by twitter is misleading. That's not a hospital-in-a-tent. It's a pre-triage tent built at the entrance of hospitals in order to prevent suspected cases entering and contaminating the hospital without PPEs.)

6/ In Italy we have 3.2 hospital beds per 1k patients. Counting only the free ones (rule of thumb: 15%), it’s about 0.48/kp.

Better hope that only 0.5% of Italians get the virus (assuming 1 in 10 needs the hospital; very conservative).

A memo seen by The Sun last night states that the “reasonable worst case” involves “up to 80 per cent of the population being infected”.

The document by the National Security Communications Team warns: “The current planning assumption is that 2-3 per cent of symptomatic cases will result in a ­fatality.”

Around half a million Brits — mostly the elderly or those with pre-existing illnesses — would be killed under this scenario, according to health sources.

The figures are in a “sensitive” government report called “Covid-19 Reasonable Worst Case Scenario”.

It predicts infection rates will snowball for two to three months once the bug starts spreading.

A government spokesman said every eventuality had to be planned for but warned “this does not mean we expect it to happen”.

Experts estimate a major outbreak may see more than two million people in hospital — crippling the NHS.

Van Dissel (virologist) informs us about a patient that was admitted in Gorinchem for a week in the intensive care. Only after transmitting her to an academic centre in Rotterdam, she was tested and found positive.

Na Infektivno odeljenje kraljevačke Opšte bolnice oko podneva je preventivno smešten pedesettrogodišnji K. M. iz Studenice.

Direktor kraljevačke bolnice dr Zoran Mrvić rekao je za RTS da K. M. ima simptome slične simptomima koronavirusa.

“Pacijent je došao iz Italije sa temperaturom. Urađeni su mu brisevi i sve neophodne analize poslate su već na ‘Torlak’, a rezultate očekujemo već večeras”, rekao je dr Mrvić.
