Fico prije nekog vremena iznio strah da će zbog protuvladinih medija uskoro neki član vlade biti ustrijeljen.

Шгјз, неко би могао ово да прогласи за скретање са теме, за американлук типа 'не разликујемо Србију од Сибирије и боли нас курац', за троловање Пољака убацивањем устаwа итд итд... Па боље да питам шта вели популус бурундикус, да спречимо 1 појаву пре него што узме маха.

Ma da kakav Lolek&Bolek, nisam ni znao da se tu piše da nije Nektivni upozorio na EU topiku. Pat&Mat, kakav LolekBolek! Mada sam još u Yu na tv gledao Bolka Polávku i tek u Pragu shvatio da nije Poljak. A Bolek.

Slovakia: who is Juraj Chintula, suspected of having shot Prime Minister Robert Fico?


“Come here, Robo!” This exhortation, reported by witnesses, was launched this Wednesday, May 15 by the attacker of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico a few seconds before the four shots which targeted him at the end of a meeting of the Slovak government in a cultural center of the town of Handlova. The head of government, seriously injured in particular in the abdomen and head, was urgently hospitalized. The suspected shooter was arrested at the scene of the violent attack. According to the Slovak press agency APA and several national and local media, it is Juraj Chintula, a 71-year-old Slovak writer, living in the town of Levice and politically left-wing.

At this stage of the investigation, authorities have not confirmed the identity of the attacker or his motivations. Founder of a “Movement Against Violence”
Known for his poetry, the writer Juraj Chintula is a supporter of the opposition party “Progressive Slovakia” , according to the APA agency. But this assertion was strongly denounced by the leader of this liberal party. “We unequivocally deny that he is a member of our movement. There is no other connection between him and our party or our members. We strongly condemn his heinous act ,” explained Michal Simecka, quoted by the Slovak daily Hospodarske Noviny .

The suspect here refers to the “SMER – social democracy” party chaired by Prime Minister Robert Fico. Originally social democratic when it was created in 1999, this political group evolved towards the right of the Slovak political spectrum, ultimately becoming a national right party, marked by its conservative and Russophile positions, and regularly accused of 'being "populist" . Before his return to power in 2023, Robert Fico had already been prime minister twice, from 2006 to 2010 then from 2012 to 2018.

Fico in 'extraordinarily serious' and still in surgery as medics 'fight for his life', says minister

Slovakia’s defence minister, Robert Kaliňák, has said the country’s prime minister, Robert Fico, is still undergoing surgery and is in “extraordinarily serious” condition.
Kaliňák, in a news conference outside the hospital in Banská Bystrica, said medical workers are “fighting for the life” of Fico, who suffered “serious polytrauma after several shots”.
Fico’s “health is serious, his situation is bad”, he said. We do not have good news at the moment and we put our hope in the hands of the medical specialists at the hospital.

Robert Fico “is expected to survive” following surgery, his deputy prime minister Tomáš Taraba said.

Taraba told the BBC Fico was no longer in a life-threatening situation.

He said: “Fortunately as far as I know the operation went well – and I guess in the end he will survive. he’s not in a life-threatening situation at this moment.

“He was heavily injured – one bullet went thought the stomach and the second one hit the joint – immediately he was transported to the hospital and then to the operation.”
