Is Netanyahu's record so dismal? Of course not. He has forged a great friendship with Viktor Orbán, the towering intellect from Hungary. And he spent 25 minutes with French President Emmanuel Macron earlier this year. Plus he really likes Narendra Modi of India, and while Hamas was planning its attack he flew all the way to California to chat with Elon Musk about artificial intelligence. Stellar.

We make clear that the terrorist actions of Hamas have no justification, no legitimacy, and must be universally condemned.
There is never any justification for terrorism.
In recent days, the world has watched in horror as Hamas terrorists massacred families in their homes, slaughtered over 200 young people enjoying a music festival, and kidnapped elderly women, children, and entire families, who are now being held as hostages.
Our countries will support Israel in its efforts to defend itself and its people against such atrocities. We further emphasise that this is not a moment for any party hostile to Israel to exploit these attacks to seek advantage.
All of us recognize the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people, and support equal measures of justice and freedom for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

pa da, to je ta akumulacija kriza gde dva bloka sve vise stoje na suprotnim stranama, odnosno proslo je vreme (koje je recimo postojalo desetak godina pre ww1) kada su pojedini clanovi dva bloka vrsili ponekad umirujuci uticaj jedni na druge.
Naravno, jos je to malo rough around the edges (Turska,, Egipat, donekle i bedna Srbija) ali tendencija je kristalizacije.

Zapravo osnovna razlika ova dva međunarodna bloka (uslovno rečeno) je to što su ovi, ajd, zapadni, fokusirani na ovaj čin i ne bave se širim IZR-PAL odnosima, a ovi, ajd, istočni, nisu fokusirani na ovaj čin nego odmah prelaze na postojanje dve države kao neko održivo/trajno rešenje.
Prvima je važnije da podrže Izrael ili barem da ne izgleda (Iranu, izraelskim arapskim susedima) da ga ne podržavaju, ove druge manje zanima neposredna situacija nego se drže dugoročnih UN rezolucija bez obzira da što ih Izrael (i iza njega SAD) suštinski odbija.
Prvima je važnije da podrže Izrael ili barem da ne izgleda (Iranu, izraelskim arapskim susedima) da ga ne podržavaju, ove druge manje zanima neposredna situacija nego se drže dugoročnih UN rezolucija bez obzira da što ih Izrael (i iza njega SAD) suštinski odbija.

pa ovde su oni u pravu. mislim tzv. istocni blok (bas kao sto kod ukrajine nisu). postojanje hamasa je posledica izraelske politike dugi niz godina i propasti osla.
da ne govorim o tome da je bibi doslovce modla za gomilu desnih gangstera tipa orbana ili dodika ili vucica ili cak i erdogana.

To je u ovoj krizi. U rusko-ukrajinskoj krizi, su prvi vise fokusirani na opste principe. Ali realno su generalno interesi (onako kako su shvaceni od strateskih aktora, ne lokalnih, to je drugo) u pitanju.
