Ovih dana se cesto postavlja pitanje, treba li uzeti buster dozu vakcine, pod kojim uslovima i koju odabrati. Evo nekoliko informacija koje mogu pomoci pri tom izboru. Njacesce je pitanje Fajzer ili Moderna, pa ce na tome biti akcenat.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) recommends a third Pfizer Covid-19 shot for recipients double vaccinated with the AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines, based on studies that show higher efficacy in individuals that received a third heterologous Pfizer dose.
Individuals double vaccinated with AstraZeneca are recommended to get a third Pfizer jab within six months after the second dose, while those who are fully vaccinated with Sinopharm should get a third shot with Pfizer within three months after their second Sinopharm jab.
The MOH also recommends a third Pfizer shot for Sinovac recipients three months after the second Sinovac dose. 

The Thai study, conducted on volunteers who had received two Sinovac doses, also found that a full third dose of Pfizer induced the highest boosting effect, followed by a half dose of Pfizer. Sinopharm’s Covid-19 vaccine had the lowest boosting effect, the study noted.

Do kraja ove godine u Beogradu će biti otvorena još četiri punkta za vakcinaciju.
To je danas najavila gradska sekretarka za socijalnu zaštitu Nataša Stanisavljević koja je rekla da će od 15. novembra biti moguće vakcinisati se u tržnom centru u Rajićevoj.
Kako je dodala, plan je da na svakih sedam dana budu otvarana još tri punkta – u tržnom centru „Stadion“, Beošoping centru i u robnoj kući „Ikea“.

As more choices have become available in recent months, some developing countries have turned to other suppliers over concerns about the effectiveness of the Chinese jabs against the Delta variants. (...)
But in recent months, some major buyers of China’s inactivated vaccines – among them Sinopharm customers the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain – have begun using alternatives as boosters, concerned over the effectiveness of the Chinese jabs against the highly transmissible Delta variant.
Thailand is mixing Sinovac doses with AstraZeneca jabs. South Africa has reportedly turned down 2.5 million Sinovac doses distributed by the Covax Facility, while Nigeria has deemed its 8 million Sinopharm doses, also from the UN-backed equitable access programme, only as “potential” jabs.
However, while the world’s supply gap remains, China’s inactivated vaccines will continue to be the major source of Covid-19 vaccines for developing countries, experts said.
“Given the current supply shortfall, the billions of doses of WIV from Sinopharm, Sinovac and Bharat [Biotech of India], when approved by the WHO, will be very important in the first round of vaccination globally,” said Jerome Kim, director general of the International Vaccine Institute.
“Over the midterm, the next six to nine critical months, where we have 11 billion doses to go, can we do it without inactivated vaccines? Now we need to vaccinate 8 billion – we may very well need every vaccine we can get that is WHO emergency use licensing [approved], particularly ones that can be kept stable at achievable temperatures for extended periods.”
Despite their lagging efficacy rates, China’s inactivated vaccines and the vectored vaccines developed by Oxford University are important to developing countries, many of which lack the infrastructure for mRNA vaccines, which must be stored at minus 20 to minus 70 degrees Celsius (minus 4 to minus 94 Fahrenheit).

U Beogradu je danas otvoren punkt za vakcinaciju protiv korona virusa u tržnom centru „Rajićeva”.

Građanima su na tom punktu, koji se nalazi na trećem spratu tržnog centra, na raspolaganju Sinofarm, Fajzer i vakcina Sputnjik V proizvedena na institutu „Torlak”.

Radno vreme ovog punkta danas je od 9 do 17 sati, a već od sutra i svakog narednog dana od 12 do 20 časova.

Otvaranju punkta u tržnom centru „Rajićeva” prisustvovali su zamenik gradonačelnika Goran Vesić i gradska sekretarka za socijalnu zaštitu Nataša Stanisavljević, javlja Tanjug.

Oni su najavili da će do kraja godine biti otvorena još tri vakcinalna punkta – u robnoj kući „Ikea”, tržnom centru „Stadion” i Beošoping centru.

Osim na punktu u tržnom centru „Rajićeva”, građani se mogu vakicnisati u tržnom centru Ušće” gde je rad vakcinalnog punkta produžen do 25. novembra, zatim na punktu u tržnom centru „Galerija” u okviru Beograda na vodi, kao i u hali 7 Beogradskog sajma.

Takođe, na raspolaganju su im i punktovi u svim domovima zdravlja na teritoriji Beograda.

Here in Austria, booster doses were rolled out to people in at-risk groups and aged over 65 starting from late August.
As of November 3rd, everyone aged 12 and over is encouraged to get a third jab, and can do so as long as at least six months have passed since their second dose.
The vaccine you get depends on what your first and second doses were, and your age. For people under 30, the Pfizer jab is recommended. Over the age of 30, either Pfizer or a half-dose of the Moderna vaccine is also possible if you got one of the following: two doses of AstraZeneca; a first dose of AstraZeneca and a second dose of Moderna or Pfizer; or two doses of Pfizer or Moderna.
Those who have had the one-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccination are encouraged to get a second dose with an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) at least 28 days after their shot, and a booster six months after this.
