I have long believed that it’s unwise for those of us on the left to ignore right-wing arguments, or attempt to censor them. Doing so lends credence to the other side’s claim that we have no effective response and are trying to suppress the truth because we are snowflakes who cannot handle the Facts. The tendency of liberal and left-leaning publications to avoid reviewing right-wing books and films is quite real, and in my own view ill-advised. While there are understandable hesitations to “platform” or “give oxygen to” bigoted arguments, or to enter into an academic debate with those who dehumanize trans people or people of color, in my own view there should be clear and persuasive refutations of the right’s propaganda readily available.1 This will at the very least discredit the claim that the inability to respond is behind the decision of most critics to ignore a given piece of work.

Rainn Wilson, star of The Office, was recently chastised for making a joke about transgender parents who breastfeed their children. Following reaction from the trans community, the actor deleted the offending tweet, which he had sent on Wednesday, June 15.
Wilson, who is best known for playing Dwight Schrute in the NBC sitcom The Office, apologized a day later for the now-deleted remark. The 56-year-old actor joked in the original tweet that the phrase ‘breastfeeding’ would be replaced with the more socially inclusive term ‘chestfeeding.’ Wilson, on the other hand, indicated in his apologies that he is ‘educating’ himself with the support of his transgender pals. The star also referred to his previous remark as “mean.”

Until 2019, Marcus Evans was the Clinical Director of Adult and Adolescent Services at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, a publicly funded mental-health center in the UK where many youth seek treatment for gender dysphoria. But he resigned three years ago over what he viewed as the unnecessary medicalization of dysphoric adolescents.
“I saw children being fast-tracked onto medical solutions for psychological problems, and when kids get on the medical conveyor belt, they don’t get off,” Evans said. “But the politicization of the issue was shutting down proper clinical rigor. That meant quite vulnerable kids were in danger of being put on a medical path for treatment that they may well regret.”
Indeed, transitions are getting younger and hastier. Puberty blockers are commonly administered at the first sign of development to children as young as 9, according to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. Testosterone and estrogen injections are frequently prescribed at age 13 or 14, despite the Endocrine Society’s recommendation of 16. And serious surgeries like mastectomies are sometimes performed on children as young as 13.

Although medical intervention for minors requires parental consent, many mothers and fathers approve surgery and hormone therapy at the recommendation of affirming medical professionals or even out of fear their child might self-harm if denied treatment.
“It’s very hard for parents to know exactly how to evaluate their own kids, and they rely quite heavily on experts to tell them,” said Jane Wheeler, a former regulatory health-care attorney who founded Rethink Identity Medicine Ethics, a non-profit that promotes ethical, evidence-based care and treatment for dysphoric children. “There’s obviously a lot of concern about the capacity for the adolescent or minor to fully appreciate what medicalization really means.”

reći će "to nije istina" jer je demilitarizacija društva bukvalno u korenima feminizma; razlika u starosnoj dobi (godinu i 10 meseci, srbija) daleko je manjeg uticaja od razlike u primanjima (žene imaju ~30-40% manje penzije od muškaraca, globalni prosek)

Mađarski zvaničnici: Obrazovanje postaje previše ženstveno
Mađarska Državna uprava za reviziju (NAO) izrazila je zabrinutost da postoji opasnost da obrazovni sistem zemlje postaje "previše ženstven".
Reč je o državnom telu koje je blisko mađarskom premijeru Viktoru Orbanu. U novoj studiji, vlasti su upozorile da bi obrazovanje u Mađarskoj moglo predstavljati demografske izazove i uticati na razvoj dečaka.
"Fenomen nazvan 'ružičasto obrazovanje' ima brojne ekonomske i društvene posledice. Ako obrazovanje favorizuje ženske osobine kao što je emocionalna i društvena zrelost i zbog toga uzrokuje preveliku zastupljenost žena na univerzitetu, rodna ravnopravnost biće značajno oslabljena", piše u studiji.
Takođe se upozorava da muškarci, skloniji preuzimanju rizika i poduzetništvu, neće moći da razviju svoj potencijal. U izveštaju NAO-a navodi se da to može dovesti do "mentalnih problema i problema u ponašanju" kada su njihova kreativnost i inovativnost "nužni za optimalan razvoj ekonomije".
Uprava za reviziju takođe kaže da bi "ružičasto obrazovanje" moglo uzrokovati demografske probleme jer obrazovane žene ne bi mogle da pronađu slično obrazovane supružnike. Kažu da bi to moglo dovesti do pada plodnosti.
Studiju je oštro osudio liberalni opozicioni poslanik Endre Tot, koji je na Fejsbuku rekao da je priča o muškim i ženskim kvalitetima "potpuna naučna besmislica".
"Vreme je da skinemo naočare iz prošlog veka", napisao je Tot.
Mađarski premijer Orban promovisao je konzervativnu revoluciju otkako se vratio na vlast 2010. i obećao je da će podsticati natalitet. Kao deo te "revolucije" zabranjivao je LGBT sadržaje za decu i ocrnjivao imigraciju.
Poverenik za ljudska prava Saveta Evrope primetio je 2019. nazadovanje prava žena i ravnopravnosti polova u Mađarskoj. Iako je Mađarska nedavno dobila predsednicu Katalin Novak, ministarka pravosuđa Judit Varga je jedina žena u vladi.
Mađarska se nalazi na pretposlednjem mestu u EU po broju poslanica.

dikaprio opet rakinuo s nekom manekenkom jer je napunila 25 godina. i niko nikada nece da kenseluje ovog ocigledno megamizoginog coveka. totalno ludilo. ali zato svaki dan se kenseluje neki tupson, npr. onaj iz arcade fire, jer se neka devojka osetila iskorisceno, neprijatno ili sta vec.
