Pa dobro, naravno. Vizuelno tj "slike" su generalno bliže desnici nego levici. U svakom slučaju bliže tradicionalizmu. Dok je sa materijalnim, opipljivim, već nešto drugačije (ako nije fetišizirano). Vizuelno, sad malo mešam topike ali - u izvesnoj meri briše vreme. Mislim, maksimaln uprošćavam, ali levica na neki način, da bi se "overodostojila" mora da se materijalizuje, otelotvori. Desnica ne mora, to je već bilo (evo slika). Ili nije, ali kao da jeste. Mislim, slike su uvek pomalo ikone, čak i ako su 80s Japanese porn.

Now a boomlet of patient and creative label owners are recovering an even more esoteric medium: the Eighties and Nineties artifact once used for Windows installations, AOL trials and sessions of Doom.
“Floppies are cheaper than cassettes, they don’t have to be tediously dubbed, they look appealing, they’re available in a lot of colors and have cool designs that people like,” says Matthew Isom, 40, of San Diego plunderphonic vaporwave label Power Lunch, who notes that floppies also cost substantially less to ship overseas than cassettes.
“I released it one evening, and woke up in the morning and it had sold out,” Power Lunch’s Isom says of Eggo Jams by Sponge Person, released in a few cassette editions and a run of 20 copies on “waffle-yellow floppy disk.”

Tanguy’s shapes are signs that became significant just by virtue of being, not because they refer to something else. Tropical plants, ancient Roman sculptures and 3-D rendered objects, the tropes of vaporwave, have all been emptied of their significance after being discretized a thousand times by popular culture. Both Tanguy’s art and vaporwave aesthetic reflect a sorrow for what could happen in the future if the past didn’t take place. To look at those desolate landscapes means to stare into the void left by a present that is not what they promised us would be."

Odličan tekst samo je protagonista trebao biti De Kirko a ne Tangi, on i Karlo Kara su ideatori istorijskog vaprowava kao pittura metafica. Naš doprinos bi tu bio Kalajić sa njegovim optimizmom volje i vapro kao utopijskom projekcijom.

bukvalnog svakog dana nastane neki novi opskuro (internet komjuniti, reddit-oriented) žanr elektronske muzike.
do pre par dana nisam znao šta je, dovraga, hyperpop, a evo i još par iznenađenja, vaporwave ima gomilu podžanrova!
tu je mallsoft ili mallwave koji je orijentisan oko muzike iz šoping molova, te sempluje plejlistu muzike i ambijentalne snimke iz istih, evocirajući nostalgiju za hiperkapitalizmom ili antikapitalizmom osamdesetih lololol, povremeno stvarajući i jezivo dronološku atmosferu napuštenih molova.
nekad je mallwave vezan za zvuke iz samo jednog lanca prodavnica (kmart naprimer
)
broken transmission iliti signalwave ima za cilj da simulira senzaciju menjanja kanala i radio stanica sa kolažnim tehnikama usporavanja semplova...
i konačno weatherwave koji radi ovo već navedeno sa materijalom sa kanala koji se bave samo vremenskim prognozama...
