Russian spies were allegedly running surveillance operations from a guesthouse in a sleepy British suburb while posing as US journalists - with the suspected ringleader including '007' in his email address.

Three Bulgarian citizens - who lived in the UK for years, working in various jobs - have been accused of spying for the Kremlin, having been arrested under the Official Secrets Act in February. Two others were detained with raids undertaken by the Met at homes in London and Great Yarmouth - while MI5 are reported to have handed documents to the police force.

Orlin Roussev, 45, Bizer Dzhambazov, 41, and Katrin Ivanova, 31, have been charged with possessing 19 fake documents with “improper intention”. These include passports, ID cards and driving licences for the UK and various European countries. The trio are said to have posed as journalists for Discovery and National Geographic, with surveillance operations suspected to have taken place in London, Germany and Montenegro, according to Scotland Yard.

U Bosilegradu je uhapšen Lj. G. (1963) iz te opštine, zbog osnova sumnje da je izvršio krivično delo špijunaža.

Više javno tužilaštvo u Vranju saopštilo je da se Lj. G. (1963) stavlja na teret da je pripadnicima strane organizacije Republike Bugarske saopštio tajne vojne podatke, koji mogu da prouzrokuju štetne posledice za bezbednost, odbranu i vojne interese zemlje.

Uhapšen je nakon kontinuiranog rada Bije, VBA, PU Vranje i Višeg javnog tužilaštva u Vranju.

Uz krivičnu prijavu radi saslušanja priveden je glavnom tužiocu Višeg javnog tužilaštva.
