    Zanima me koji je put i kako se na prvi pogled ne toliko upućenom posmatraču razotkriva da hermetično delo umetnika nije hermetično već moda u koju isto ne moram biti upućen. Čini mi se da se nalazim u svetu prepunog bezideoloških lažnjaka koji žive prodajući ideologiju kao umetnost. Koliko je umetnik koji ne učestvuje u objašnjavanju svog dela hendikepiran? Hoću da kažem da savremena umetnost nije uspela iskomunicirati tačku razlaza kao tačku početka.

    nisam siguran koliko je savremena umetnost hermeticna koliko je jasno da izlazi iz okvira odredjenih postavki tog pojma kako smo ga znali u istoriji.

    kada brana nikolic pravi, zajedno sa romima, kucu od materijala nadjenog pored kontejnera svakome je jasno sta se tu desava i prilicno je citljivo. tako da je pitanje samo ono vratarsko: da li je to umetnost?

    s druge strane odredjena literarnost i pisanje stejtmenta kao eksplikacije rada ili izlozbe jesu glavno jelo dnevnog menija danas. jerko denegri je negde misljenja da to ogranicava kriticare ali ja nisam tako siguran.

    Ne otvara se linak.

    Kako god, nisam bio na Koonsovoj izlozbi a poserem mu se u estetiku, koncept, galeriste, kolekcionare i kriticare koji ga uzimaju u obzir. No dobro, ovo je vreme idiota, to objasnjava citav cirkus.

    nego ozbiljnije stvari. luc tuymans je izgubio spor pod optuzbom za plagijat zato sto je 'preslikao' novinsku fotografiju jednog od vodecih desnicarskih politicara u belgiji.

    pa nije ovo bas apropriacionizam. mislim ovo sa tuymansom. sherri je ove fotografije walkera evansa fotkala ponovo iz kataloga i izlagala kao svoj rad i to se citalo cesto u kljucu odredjene i feministicke kritike. tuymans je zapravo preslikavao fotografiju odnosno prevodio sliku iz jednog u drugi medij u nameri da njenu implicitnu politicku poruku ucini ambivalentnom. kod tuymansa je pitanje viska znacenja a kod levin odredjene umetnicke geste.

    pa u oba sluchaja je u pitanju izvesna resemantizacija 'originala' 



    ako bismo neke blize paralele s tuymasovim postupkom:

    ali ja mislim da sudija nije uzimao niedan drugi kriterijum do stupnja vizuelne podudarnosti, ne verujem da je rasudjivao kroz namere umetnika, jer i sherri i tuymans koriste 'originale' kao primarni materijal za svoje delo, kao sto se boje i platno koristi kao primarni materijal za prikazivacku umetnost da se dodje do 'cilja'

    bilo bi interesantno da je sudija pozvao nekog iz art sveta na veshtachenje, sukob dva sveta, ne mere istim mernim jedinicama

    da, kao u slucaju mapplethorpovih fotografija. mada pravo pitanje bi bilo da li je autorstvo fotografa ove novnske fotografije nekako osteceno? da li postoji neki dodatni kvalitet koji kopiju cini razlicitom od originala?

    da, kao u nizu slicnih odnosa, pitanje autorstva strip crtaca kirbija i lihtenstajnovih panela - uvecanih kopija ('kopija'), ili dizajnera ambalaze kembel supa i vorhola
    pop art svkakao nije parodiralo realnost koju je 'kopirao', a zakon u usa je vrlo ogranicavajuci u tom smislu. parodija je jedna od strategija koja je u okviru fair use-a, regulative koja dozvoljava koriscenje nekog autorskog dela u drugom radu, prema nekim pravilima odnosno testu koji odredjuje da li si u okviru fair use-a ili ne

    meni je to neverovatno, autor 'kopije' otvoreno, neskriveno i nedvosmisleno preuzima prvi rad sa kompletnim kulturnim znacenjem koji ovaj ima, i na njega rachuna u stvarnaju novog znachenja,  udvajanjem tekstova
    na kraju krajeva ovim se otvara i pitanje da li bi pravi ili fantomski r.mutt mogao tuziti dishana zbog 'kradje'

    ma naravno. uzasno je zanimljiva ova odluka i deluje da je delimicno politizovana. videcemo da li ce zalba biti usvojena ili ce 'originalnost' biti sudski zasticena.

    'pohvalu' je nemoguce ne kritikovati

    mislim da je ovde kriticki aparat na nivou drustveno-vakuumiranog matematicko-logickog aparata (tipa da je organizacioni proces kojim je nagradjen biran i menjan obesmislio sam pojam i ekskluzivitet 'pohvale' i to je kao najveci fail), nema analize dubljih slojeva, ideoloskih dimenzija uloge ucesnika nezavisne scene u ovakvom art trzistom eksperimentu

    inace postoji najava otvorene diskusije o pojmu i znacaju pohvala i nagrada na sceni srpske savr.um. u aktuelnom trenutku, by b.d. (osmi mart,ako nije promenjeno)

    The Islamic State has sensationally won the prestigious 2015 Turner Prize for its conceptual art piece ‘Smashing Mosul Museum To Pieces: Death To The Infidels.’

    “By demolishing priceless 3,000 year old statues with sledge hammers, ISIS is asking: ‘What is art?’, while retextualising normative art as transgressive, daring and counter cultural,” said the chairman of the Turner Prize jury, Sir Nicholas Serota. “I was very moved by their performance.”

    The pulvarised pieces of rock left by the Islamic State were later purchased by modern art collector Charles Saatchi for $5 million for an installation entitled: ‘Lumps Of Rock In A Wheelbarrow, 2015′.

    The Turner Prize, considered the greatest prize in modern art, has previously been won by artists using elephant dung, a dead shark and a garden shed reimagined as art.

    “In destroying this ‘art’, the Islamic State has liberated it from bourgeoise, middle class concepts of ‘beauty’ and invited us to examine pig ignorance as an artistic expression in itself,” said Serota, while being held at gunpoint by the Islamic State winning team.

    This is the first Middle Eastern winner of the Turner Prize since the Taliban took the prize in 2001 for blowing up 30 foot high Buddha statues in an installation entitled ‘Blowing Up 30 Ft High Buddhist Statues: Because They’re Buddhist’.

    Accepting this year’s award, the Islamic State’s leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi thanked the jury and said he and the art team would soon be unveiling their latest work: ‘Beheading The Turner Prize Judges: Death To Anyone Who Looks Suspiciously Homosexual’.

    i would like to talk here about The Last of Us on HBO... and yeah, yeah i know.. the world is burning but lets just all sit and talk about television. again - what else are we doing with ourselves ? we are not creating any militias. but my god we still have the content. appraising content is the american modus vivendi.. that's why we are here for. to absorb the content and then render some sort of a judgment on content. because there is a buried hope that if enough people have the right opinion about the content - the content will get better which will then flow to our structures and make the world a better place

    pa naravno da je najtezi zadatak od svega promisliti na zadatu temu i napraviti muzej koji ce actually biti befitting aktualnim potrebama produkcije i lokalnom-regionalnom-internacionalnom kontekstu za koji se podize. lahko je dovesti zahu i pljunuti lovu no to cudo treba da ima neki unutrasnji zivot ili internu logiku. ti svi primeri arhitekturalnih resenja stvarno poticu - ko sto rece autor -iz jednog straha da ono sto bi se egzibiralo unutra ne bi bilo dovoljno interesantno. i odlicna poenta oko hronicnog manjka sadasnjosti u dobu hipermedijacije.

    a ovako na prvu loptu mi se cini da trend da arhitektura upstedzuje umetnost ide ruku pod ruku sa opcom kustosokratijom u savremenoj umetnosti. apsolutno svi faktori involved imaju potrebu da apstejdzuju umetnost jer ona kao da nikako nije sama po sebi dovoljna. uvek moraju neke stake i propsi !
